Please have my chair

I have trouble being in the present. Comparing history, the present and future one thing is certain: the present is by far the shortest of the 3. Not having much history myself makes me suspicious. It might all be invented... selected and deleted... subjectively manipulated and kind of photo-shopped. I do not like looking back. It all seems so grim there. Although history is the quickest the future is always ahead. I will never get there. And then there seems to be in comparison more leftovers of the past than we keep of this present. I worry that we recycle too much now or create only stuff that is biodegradable. One day the planet is empty of me and some alien archaeologist finds some thing of my present... it might as well be some chair I sat on. One of those plastic ones millions are made of. One which is overlooked in the process of recycling. I do not give up hope however to see one day the future. I could start running backwards... or just stay put.
